Ducted Fume hoods
At Deiiang™, we understand that a Dusted Fumehood is the primary line of defense in any laboratory. Our Dusted Fumehoods are the culmination of decades of specialized engineering, designed to provide uncompromised containment for hazardous chemical fumes, vapors, and dust.
Built to meet rigorous international safety standards (ASHRAE 110/EN 14175), our units feature aerodynamic sash handles and optimized baffles that ensure stable airflow and eliminate dead zones, protecting personnel even during complex chemical processes.
Ducted Fume hoods Features And Benefits

Stainless Steel Cabinet
Deiiang™ Explosion-proof Fume Hood is constructed with 1.0mm premium 304 stainless steel plates, precision-cut by CNC laser and formed via CNC bending. Gas-protected welding and stainless steel hinges ensure a robust, durable, and corrosion-resistant structure.

Selected PP Material
Deiiang™ PP Fume Hood is constructed from carefully selected polypropylene (PP) sheets, offering excellent corrosion resistance and high tolerance to acids and alkalis for superior chemical durability.

Removable Window
The sash of Deiiang™ is designed with PP-strip-wrapped edges and incorporates 5mm tempered glass for enhanced safety.
With an opening height of 760mm, the sash can be freely raised and lowered. Its sliding mechanism uses a belt-drive transmission system, and the guiding components are made of corrosion-resistant PVC, ensuring smooth, stable, and durable movement.

Cabinet Material
The Deiiang™ Walk-In Fume Hood is constructed entirely from 1.0mm high-quality cold-rolled steel plates, with an actual thickness ranging from 1.15mm to 1.2mm.
The surface is treated using an automated epoxy resin powder electrostatic spraying line followed by high-temperature curing, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and a smooth, professional finish.

Baffle
Deiiang™ utilizes a 5mm thick solid-core double-layer phenolic baffle that offers excellent corrosion and chemical resistance.
The baffle is secured with high-quality PP fixtures molded in one piece, ensuring robust mounting and optimized airflow distribution within the hood.

Control Panel
The control panel of Deiiang™ provides clear visualization of operational parameters and allows intuitive control over the fan, lighting, and power functions, ensuring safe and efficient laboratory workflows.

Ducted Fume hoods FAQ
About Deiiang™ Powder Protection Solutions
Deiiang™ specializes in the design and manufacture of high-end powder protection equipment, boasting decades of industry experience. Our products are widely used in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, laboratories, and other fields, ensuring operator safety and product quality.
Why Choose Deiiang?
What truly sets Deiiang™ apart isn’t just the specifications on a datasheet—it is the tactile reality of our craftsmanship. Having spent years on the factory floor refining our fabrication techniques, we know that the longevity of a fume hood lies in the details often unseen. We use a proprietary double-wall construction method with chemically resistant liners that are seamless and hand-welded.
Unlike standard assembly, our seasoned technicians hand-finish the interior corners to prevent chemical buildup, a technique mastered over thousands of hours of production. When you touch the smooth operation of our sash or inspect the chemical-resistant coating, you are experiencing equipment built by experts who know exactly what your lab environment demands.

What is the main advantage of Deiiang™ Ducted Fume Hoods compared to Ductless models?
The primary advantage of Deiiang™ Ducted Fume Hoods lies in their ability to handle highly volatile, toxic, and unknown chemical substances safely. By connecting to an external exhaust system, we ensure that hazardous fumes are completely vented outside the building, rather than just being filtered and recirculated.
For laboratories involving complex chemical reactions, heavy solvent usage, or high-temperature operations, Deiiang™ ducted systems provide the highest level of safety protection, complying with strict international standards like ASHRAE 110.
How do I choose the right size Deiiang™ fume hood for my laboratory?
Selecting the correct size depends on your experimental workflow and laboratory layout. Deiiang™ offers standard widths ranging from 1200mm to 1800mm (4ft to 6ft), as well as custom dimensions. You need to account for the size of the equipment placed inside the hood (e.g., hot plates, stirrers) and ensure there is enough workspace for operators. Additionally, always leave clearance on both sides of the hood to maintain optimal Face Velocity performance.
What liner material options does Deiiang™ offer, and how should I choose?
The liner material is critical for the longevity of your fume hood. Deiiang™ offers several high-performance options:
- Phenolic Resin: Ideal for most general chemical applications, offering good corrosion resistance and cost-effectiveness.
- Epoxy Resin: The best choice for high-heat environments and strong corrosive acids/bases.
- Stainless Steel: Perfect for cleanroom environments or radioactive isotope applications, as it is easy to decontaminate. If you are unsure which material suits your chemical inventory, our technical team can provide a detailed chemical resistance analysis.

Are Deiiang™ Ducted Fume Hoods compatible with Variable Air Volume (VAV) control systems?
Yes, all high-end Deiiang™ ducted fume hoods are fully compatible with Variable Air Volume (VAV) control systems. Unlike traditional Constant Air Volume (CAV) systems, VAV systems automatically adjust the exhaust volume based on the sash height. This not only maintains a safe Face Velocity (typically 0.5 m/s or 100 fpm) at all times but also significantly reduces laboratory energy consumption, saving you substantial HVAC operating costs.
(The fume hood is equipped with advanced VAV system components, allowing for seamless integration with VAV exhaust systems.)
What safety features are included in the Deiiang™ sash design?
Safety is our top priority. Deiiang™ fume hoods utilize 5mm or 6mm thick tempered safety glass. In addition to standard vertical rising sashes, we offer horizontal sliding or combination sashes. All sashes are equipped with ergonomic handles and an anti-drop mechanism. Even in the unlikely event of a cable failure, the sash will lock immediately to prevent it from falling and injuring the operator.
Do your fume hoods come with base cabinets? What are their functions?
Deiiang™ fume hoods feature a modular design. Base cabinets are optional but highly recommended. We offer two main types:
- Standard Storage Cabinets: For storing general lab supplies.
- Safety Storage Cabinets: Specifically designed for storing flammable liquids (Yellow cabinets) or corrosives/acids (Blue/White cabinets). These cabinets can also be vented directly into the fume hood exhaust system to prevent the buildup of hazardous vapors.
(The fume hood base cabinet can be customized according to customer requirements, with 3 or 4 doors, providing ample storage space.)
Does Deiiang™ offer OEM/ODM customization services? What is the lead time?
Yes, as a source manufacturer, Deiiang™ possesses strong R&D and manufacturing capabilities to fully support OEM and ODM services. Whether you need special dimensions, specific color requirements, or integrated utility fixtures (gas/water/vacuum), we can deliver. The lead time for standard products is typically 2-3 weeks, while custom orders take approximately 4-6 weeks depending on complexity. All products undergo rigorous QC testing before shipment.

How should I maintain my Deiiang™ fume hood to ensure longevity?
Regular maintenance is essential. We recommend professional inspection every 3-6 months.
- Daily: Clean up chemical spills immediately to prevent liner corrosion; keep the sash glass clean.
- Periodically: Check that the airflow monitor is reading correctly; ensure the sash moves smoothly; verify internal lighting is functional.
- Annually: Have a third-party professional conduct ASHRAE 110 performance testing to ensure airflow containment remains within safe limits.
