A Fan Filter Unit (FFU) is a motorized air filtering device that serves as the core component of cleanroom environments. It draws in air using its own fan, passes it through a high-efficiency filter (HEPA/ULPA), and distributes clean air in a vertical laminar flow. Its primary function is to remove airborne particles to maintain specific cleanliness standards (e.g., ISO 5, ISO 7). As a direct manufacturer, Deiiang™ provides high-performance FFUs designed to meet rigorous industrial cleanroom requirements.

Selecting the correct FFU depends on several factors:

• Cleanliness Class: ISO 5 (Class 100) typically requires 100% ceiling coverage, while ISO 7 or 8 requires less.
• Dimensions: Standard sizes include 4’x2′ (1175x575mm) and 2’x2′ (575x575mm), but this depends on your ceiling T-Grid.
• Housing Material: Galvalume or powder-coated steel is standard; however, for high-humidity areas, we recommend Deiiang™ 304 Stainless Steel FFUs. Contact our engineering team for a free consultation and calculation.

We offer both, depending on your target ISO classification:

• HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air): 99.99% efficiency @ 0.3μm. Ideal for ISO 5 to ISO 8 environments (Electronics, Pharma).
• ULPA (Ultra-Low Penetration Air): 99.9995% efficiency @ 0.12μm. Essential for critical ISO 3 or ISO 4 environments (Wafer fabrication). All Deiiang™ FFUs are modular and compatible with both filter types.

We provide flexible control solutions:

• Local Control: Simple 3-speed switches or stepless speed knobs on the unit.
• Group Control: PC software or Touch Screen panels to centrally manage thousands of units (ON/OFF, speed, fault monitoring).
• BMS Integration: Our EC motor FFUs support Modbus RTU protocols, allowing seamless integration into your existing Building Management System (BMS).

Deiiang™ FFUs are designed for easy “drop-in” installation into standard ceiling grids. Regarding maintenance:

• Pre-filter: Clean or replace every 3-6 months to extend the life of the main filter.
• HEPA/ULPA Filter: Typically replaced every 2-4 years, or when the pressure drop doubles. Our units feature a “Room-side Replaceable” design, allowing filter changes from inside the cleanroom without dismantling the entire unit.
